What happens to my film if I cancel OurSight?
Your film stays yours. Every game in OurSight is a DRM-free master you can download at any time, and downloading isn’t locked behind an active subscription — if you cancel, you can still take your games with you. We built it this way on purpose: a season shouldn’t disappear because a program stopped paying. (Downloads are per game, rather than a single bulk-export button.)
Is the AI automatic, or do I still tag film myself?
It’s AI-assisted, not fully automatic — and we’re deliberate about saying so. OurSight proposes lacrosse events (ground balls, clears, rides, shots, saves, turnovers, faceoffs, goals, penalties, slides) and you confirm or fix them in seconds, which is far faster than tagging from scratch and far faster than the 12–24 hours a human service takes. It also improves every time you correct it. What it is notis a button that breaks down your whole game unattended — anyone promising that in lacrosse today is overselling.
How is OurSight different from Hudl?
Hudl is a broad, multi-sport platform, and its deepest game breakdown comes from a paid human-assist add-on with a turnaround time. OurSight is lacrosse-native: the AI already understands clears, rides, ground balls, and slides, proposes them for coach confirmation in minutes, and includes that analysis in one flat price instead of tiering it. How is OurSight different from Veo?
Veo’s proprietary camera is genuinely excellent, but it locks you into its hardware and subscription, its footage can become inaccessible if you stop paying, and its automatic lacrosse tagging covers only about three event types. OurSight works with any camera you already own, keeps every game as a downloadable master that’s yours to keep, and tags the deeper lacrosse events — clears, rides, ground balls, slides — that Veo doesn’t. How is OurSight different from QwikCut?
QwikCut is a capable, fairly priced lacrosse platform — it has telestration, a playbook, player grading, and recruiting tools, and we won’t pretend otherwise. The difference is how the analysis works: QwikCut’s lacrosse stats are produced by human statisticians, typically 12–24 hours later, on a multi-sport template, and sold as a separate tier. OurSight’s are AI-assisted, arrive in minutes, use a lacrosse-native event model, and are included — and the system learns from your corrections.
Does OurSight do live streaming for parents and fans?
Yes. Any game can go live to a public watch page with the live score — viewers just tap a link, no account or app. You can go live from your phone’s browser or from any RTMPS encoder you already use, and an encoder stream is also saved as your own game master that feeds your analysis. You can also forward the same camera to YouTube or Facebook at the same time by pasting the stream key from either, so the families who already watch there don’t have to move. Today the score lives on the watch page rather than being burned into the video.
Can I draw on film (telestration)?
Yes — you can draw directly on any frame to show a player exactly what you mean, and you can export that annotated frame as an image to drop into a text, a team channel, or a presentation. It’s built for teaching moments, not just live-session scribbles.
What camera do I need?
None in particular — OurSight is bring-your-own-camera, so your phone, a GoPro, or a camcorder all work, and nothing you buy stops working if you leave. If you want a full-field setup, a complete kit runs about $520, bought at cost with no markup.
Is OurSight only for lacrosse?
OurSight’s analysis is built lacrosse-first — the event model (clears, rides, ground balls, slides, faceoffs) is genuinely lacrosse-native, not a generic template with lacrosse bolted on. The underlying platform (film, telestration, streaming, team tools) is sport-agnostic, but everything we tune and ship today is for lacrosse coaches.
What does OurSight include beyond film?
Beyond film and analysis, OurSight includes practice planning with a large drill library, a playbook you can draw and animate, a coaching copilot that surfaces patterns across your season, player development tracking, and team management (roster, schedule, RSVP, messaging) — all in one price. The idea is that the tools a program usually spreads across several apps live in one place.
How do you handle player and family data, including for minors?
Protecting player and family data — including for minors — is a first-class priority as we launch, and we’re building consent and privacy controls to match. We’ll publish the specifics as those controls go live. Our current privacy policy covers what we collect today.
